Accessibility Statement

Last updated: April 2026

1. Scope

This statement applies to the website published at metadatagone.com and all language versions reachable below it (/de, /en).

2. Conformance Status

We strive to design this website in accordance with the German Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Conformance Level AA.

Due to the non-compliances listed in section 3, the website is currently partially compliant with these requirements.

3. Non-accessible Content

The following content or functionality does not yet fully meet the requirements. We are working on resolving these:

  • Foreign-language technical terms (WCAG 3.1.2)

A few English technical terms (e.g. "Merchant of Record", "CLOUD Act") inside German-language passages do not yet carry a dedicated lang attribute. Screen readers therefore read these terms with German phonetics. Meaning is not distorted; we will fix this during the next editorial pass.

  • Fine-grained font sizes in micro-copy

A few labels in demo and preview areas use 12-pixel type. All main content runs at 14 pixels or larger. Browser zoom up to 200% works without loss.

  • Automated tool verification pending

A formal conformance report produced by automated testing tools (axe-core, Lighthouse) is being prepared. This statement will be updated with concrete results once available.

4. Preparation of this Statement

This statement was first prepared on 20 April 2026 based on a self-assessment. The most recent review was on 20 April 2026.

  • Language annotation of English technical terms in the legal pages.
  • Screen-reader sign-off with NVDA and VoiceOver.
